Sephora Play Reviews People Are Mad About Repeats

See :: Beetlejuice on Broadway. Brilliant retelling of a classic motion picture that will leave you in tears from laughing so difficult. It will not disappoint! Be More than Chill, on the other mitt, was an interesting story with good acting…but it felt like I was existence screamed at the entire time. Information technology's as well no longer playing on Broadway, then…

Do :: Stream "The Boys" on Amazon. And so many cringeworthy moments, but what an idea to flip a superhero serial on its caput. Worth the rampage.

Read :: Anything you may ever want to know most Autumn lawn care with the Lawn Intendance Nut. My husband has two weeks off from work, and he has dedicated that time to revitalizing our lawn. And making information technology odor bad. And go unusable. But I've been told there will exist greener pastures to show for information technology in three weeks, so there'south that! This man, and his guide/Facebook page accept been my husband's get-to resource. Will study back with before/after photos!

Acquire :: Flag football. Wee man threw a football in a spiral blueprint a few times during a preschool field day last Leap, and since then he and the hubs take been all well-nigh making him the next Joe Montana. Not by practicing, but by talking about the little guy playing football in the Fall. And so I signed him up for FLAG football, with our beginning do this by Saturday. He felt bad about taking the other kids' flags (didn't want them to be sad), so he stood there and permit them take his. He's such a sweet soul.

Tennis, it is.

Recaps of Days 1 and 2 here.

Day 3. Midway through the vacation, pouring rain…and, honestly, the best.

Post-obit the Safari ride at Animal Kingdom.

Nosotros got up early to catch the first(ish?) bus to Brute Kingdom from our hotel. We dressed in layers and with rain coats, and didn't let the weather condition agree us back. I was SO GLAD. Creature Kingdom was about as empty as Disney parks go. Wednesday morning with bad weather = Disney heaven.

Ane downside – we did non do Avatar Flight of Passage. I couldn't get a FastPass for it and was not waiting on line for 2 hours in the rain with a morning full of FastPasses and empty lines. Instead, we did so much else.

Fauna Kingdom Rides
~ Dinosaur – I've always loved this ride. Wee man was a little nervous, but later confessed equally to how much he loved it.
~ Trek Everest – first LEGIT roller coaster for wee man; he was a lilliputian shaky afterwards, but claimed he loved it. This was our last FP of the twenty-four hour period.
~ Kilimanjaro Safaris – the best views of the animals I take ever seen, since it had stopped raining for a brief menses during our scheduled fourth dimension and the animals began emerging from their shelters. Absolutely beautiful – worth the FP.
~ Na'6 River Journey – another Avatar ride, which we had a FP for. Absolutely stunning ride.
~ Touring – what I love near Animal Kingdom that isn't exactly an allure is the opportunity to walk around, come across all of the beautiful animals, enjoy Pandora, partake in the carnival atmosphere of Dinoland and…of course…hang with the characters (we saw Scrooge McDuck!).

Meeting Scrooge McDuck
Trek Everest

At that place were as well many impromptu shows with incredible music, and we fifty-fifty ran into Kevin from "Up!".

Dinoland

We grabbed lunch at Flame Tree Charcoal-broil (delicious!) and some ice cream before heading dorsum to our hotel for some R&R and, I'm sure y'all guessed it…puddle time!

Later freshening up, nosotros grabbed an evening boat ride over to Magic Kingdom to catch dinner and some more rides.

I made a last minute reservation at Liberty Tree Tavern, around 8:15 pm. The wait was about 15 minutes — non terrible by Disney standards. And so permit me say that when I booked this, I thought buffet meant an actual buffet — non family-mode set menu. I wish I had known that going into it. The food was actually really, really good and authentically American. Pot roast, roast turkey, pork roast, potatoes, vegetables, gravy…it's endless and pretty darn tasty. Just problem was that wee man is anti-nutrient, and refused to eat anything offered except a dinner roll. Add to that, the Wishes fireworks display. Total 24-hour interval of Disney + Hunger + Fireworks = Epic Meltdown.

Autonomously from a disastrous dinner experience (through no error of the eatery – I blame myself for not researching better!), we were able to hit some more rides that we missed the solar day before. Nosotros were even able to have advantage of the park's Extra Magic Hours, where we were able to keep going on rides after the park closed to the general public considering we were staying at a Disney hotel.

Magic Kingdom Rides (Round ii – No FPs)
~ Large Thunder Mountain Railroad – ever a crowd-pleaser roller coaster, plus it was pretty chilly that night and it was nice that part of the wait was indoors.
~ The Magic Carpets of Aladdin – there was no line for this, otherwise we might accept passed. Fantastic for younger kids, though.
~ Peter Pan's Flight – I was tempted to FP this, since I heard such wonderful things. Thank you to all the hype, I had built it up in my caput a bit and was a little permit downwardly. We went on this ride during Extra Magic Hours, then the line was considerably shorter than at any other point of the twenty-four hour period. Wee human being brutal asleep on the ride…that's when we decided to telephone call it a night.
~ Pirates of the Caribbean – a boat tour through Jack Sparrow's pirate tale. No line at night and tons of fun!
~ Swiss Family Treehouse – my mother would like this attraction (not a ride!), my son was bored to tears.

There is something and then special about Disney parks at night — it really does feel magical.

Solar day I…epic success. We woke upwardly the side by side forenoon excited and energized for Magic Kingdom.

Fast Passes were ready to go (Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Space Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train), nosotros defenseless the offset boat over to Magic Kingdom and then something happen…NO ENTHUSIASM FROM THE WEE MAN! I don't know if I was expecting glitter to explode from his caput when he saw Cinderella'due south Castle for the first time, and eventually we did get a piffling reaction from him, which we managed to get on video. I'll spare you the two videos taken before it where I was given dirty looks.

Magic Kingdom Rides
~ Astro Orbiter – high flying, no lines early AM, probably really cool at night
~ Barnstormer – great coaster for small kids, it's also where I lost (and institute) my Magic Band
~ Buzz Lightyear's Infinite Ranger Spin – this was ambrosial, a virtual shooting game and mini coaster
~ Haunted Mansion – the line was a little long for this ane, but information technology moves speedily; great ride and nice way to beat the estrus for a scrap
~ Mad Tea Political party – goes down in history as wee human's first Disney ride!
~ 7 Dwarfs Mine Train – quite possibly my favorite ride in MK and worth the FP since standby hours were ii-3 hours when we were there
~ Infinite Mount – the last of our FPs for the 24-hour interval, and by this point wee man was tired, hungry and cranky, which resulted in the pouting image below after we wouldn't let him switch seats after the ride started (showing this one at his wedding!!!)
~ Under the Sea – in that location was no line for this ride, which is why we decided to try it; information technology was ambrosial, but wee man didn't intendance for information technology one mode or another – would not take waited in a line for information technology

He will, however, always wait in line for a popsicle.

We grabbed lunch at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, and made sure to get a Mickey-shaped ice cream bar while checking out The Muppets Nowadays Great Moments in American History!

Then back on the gunkhole to our hotel we went…and, of form, back to the pool!

Afterwards some swimming, rest (once it starting POURING) and showers of our ain, we hopped on a bus and headed to Epcot once the rain stopped. Honestly, given the little guy'south aversion to food, we contemplated skipping this park altogether. Since we had the park hopper laissez passer, why not give information technology a shot, right?

I'yard glad nosotros went…we had a great time. For rides, nosotros merely went on Mission: Infinite and Spaceship Earth. At that place were no lines for either, so we were in and out pretty rapidly. In hindsight, I wish nosotros would have gone on Soarin', but the line was sooo long.

Nosotros were all on concluding legs, so we walked around the World Showcase (AMAZING!) pretty chop-chop, had dinner in Mexico at La Cantina de San Angel and watched IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth much to the dismay of my kid (he's terrified of fireworks). Illuminations was beautiful — worth watching the evidence, if you can.

Grabbing the bus back to the hotel was quick and piece of cake, as we prepared for Mean solar day 3 of our Disney World Chance in Animal Kingdom and a second pass at Magic Kingdom.

With a five year one-time. And survived. Those who bring multiple children to the Most Magical Place on World, I salute you.

Looking back now, I get all fangirl about the holiday, as in, "OMG! BEST VACATION EVER! Nosotros Demand TO Practise THIS EVERY Year!" Clearly I'm forgetting the x grand times wee man (all 46″ of him) asked to exist picked up/carried/held considering he didn't feel like walking/standing/waiting. Or was put out when we didn't accept a Fast Pass (bless you, FP!) for a ride. Or proverb that he likes being cold and doesn't want to layer wearable, then complains he is too cold and we have to spend $100 on a sweatshirt. The list goes on, but I won't bore you with that here…a fiddling pain is all role of the Disney experience.

We stayed at the Wilderness Guild for four nights (Monday – Friday), which we picked based on the pool and its proximity to Magic Kingdom. LOOOOOOVED taking the gunkhole to MK, but simply an FYI that yous will need to take a bus to every other park unless you go to MK kickoff and take the monorail. The pool was so good that wee human never wanted to get out (including to get to the rides!), and the staff was just purely incredible. We chose a balustrade room that faced the puddle — no regrets! We also booked using the Gift of Magic offering, which is good through the end of April 2019.

View of Wilderness Lodge pool from our balcony.

Monday (Twenty-four hours One)
We flew downward to Orlando from Newark airport free of charge courtesy of the miles I had been saving upward with the airline'southward credit card. It was wee human being's first plane ride, and he exceeded all expectations. I could non have been more proud of him with all the loud noises (which he hates) and being forced to listen to direction (which he also hates). I hateful, he's five.

First Aeroplane Ride

Anyway…I can't recommend enough using the Magical Express if you are staying at a WDW Resort. First, it'southward free. Second, it's glorious — place the yellow luggage tags on your checked numberless PRIOR to checking your baggage at the airport. While you lot get direct from the plane to the Magical Express omnibus in Orlando, WDW finds your luggage at the airdrome and brings it direct to your room in three-5 hours. Pack anything y'all admittedly need – including bathing suits for those amazing pools – in your conduct on. WDW does the balance. (More on Magical Express going home to come). Having dowloaded the Disney app and checked into our hotel online prior to our arrival, I received a text while however on the omnibus that our room was ready — which meant we could bypass lobby check-in and utilise our magic bands to access our room. Could non be easier.

On Magic Express heading to Wilderness Lodge

Is anything better than the starting time of your vacation once y'all're FINALLY at your destination? Ugh, it'south glorious. This first (late) dejeuner, at our hotel'southward Geyser Bar & Grill, was al fresco and astonishing. After we ate, we changed into swim clothes (which we packed in our carry on) and hit the puddle! The temperature of the puddle (and the atmospheric condition) was perfection, and there was ample seating for guests. The pool offers a slide for bigger kids, and a split mini-water park for smaller children. The towels are free and in ample supply. Y'all could also buy adult beverages at Geyser and bring them to the pool. Wins all around.

We had purchased Park Hopper passes for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, but had nil scheduled for Monday night. To be honest, (a) I wasn't sure we would be up for it depending on how the 24-hour interval went with travel and (b) I just really wanted to go with the period for once. We left the puddle for our room just in time for our baggage to exist delivered. Afterward showers and changing, we set out for the bus to Disney Springs to find some fun and nutrient.

Disney Springs

Disney Springs was HOPPING…on a Monday! I tin can't imagine what weekends await like there. We wandered effectually, took advantage of some photos opps, bought wee man mode likewise many toys (see "first day of holiday" euphoria in a higher place) and only walked around outside on a cute evening. In February, we were striking the near-end of winter New Jersey, then but being able to walk around outside was exhilarating.

We settled on dinner at Bongos Cuban Cafe, which was delicious. I made the last minute reservation using the Disney app while we were walking around Disney Springs. Different most Disney veterans, or at least those who had washed their inquiry, nosotros did Not book alee for amazing Disney dining experiences. Wee man is still very much not a fan of eating, permit lonely trying new foods, so why waste material the time, coin and attempt when information technology literally pains him to sit at a meal table. For united states, this method worked out fine, just I would recommend booking dining reservations well in advance if y'all're looking for a special experience.

Buzz Lightyear at Disney Springs

After dinner, nosotros walked back to the jitney and eventually made our style to the hotel. Upon arrival, we realized that there is an electrical water pageant at Wilderness Lodge every night starting at nine:thirty pm. Wee human was out of gas at that point and had no interest watching the pageant, so we went dorsum to our room where we could luckily still see the pageant from our balustrade. Some of u.s.a. didn't make information technology through the show.

Up next, Tuesday (Day Two) of our Disney World hazard, including Magic Kingdom and Epcot!

A very wise person once told me to non allow perfection make it the way of progress, which is exactly what I have been doing with this blog. I thought if I didn't have the time to make it perfect, I should leave it be. No dubiousness, I take been insanely busy these past few months, but I was missing a part of me that enjoyed this artistic outlet.

So hither I am, with all my imperfections available for the world to see. More to come soon.

I've struggled with lines nether my eyes since my fifth birthday.  Add to that age, a bouncy four year old and a consuming career, and my poor eyes are in rough shape. You lot can imagine my excitement when VIIcode Skin Care offered to send me a package of their O2M Oxygen Heart Mask for All Nighttime Repair to endeavour out.

In each box, there vi treatments to use overnight for vi to eight hours, two to three times a calendar week. The product claims to minimize signs of aging, reduce fine lines/wrinkles and moisturize that incredibly fragile area under your eyes.

The pads themselves are thick and comfortable, and the gel-similar material adheres well to the eye expanse (merely exist certain to not apply any other eye serum after cleansing your face/before application). Upon application, you lot'll experience a cooling awareness, which I always beloved because – at a minimum – information technology feels like it's working.

Ingredients (from the company website):

  • Sodium Hyaluronate: Boosts pare's moisture content, reduce inflammation, and help prevent wet loss.
  • Sodium PCA: Helps to retain moisture, prevents our pare cells from losing water and drying out, reduces inflammation, and prevents skin from aging.
  • Vitamin E: An antioxidant that neutralizes the oxidant upshot of free radicals, which harm collagen and cause pare dryness, fine lines, and wrinkles.
  • Allantoin: Helps to soften and protect, while actively soothing skin. Information technology besides stimulates prison cell regeneration, promoting good for you skin.
  • Aloe barbadensis, Algin: Helps to hydrate your skin.

I used the product every bit instructed and plant information technology to exist, overall, beneficial to my under middle area. These masks are very hydrating, and my pare was well-nigh plumper when I woke upward in the morning.  The only existent problem I had with these masks overnight is that I'thousand a fairly vehement sleeper, and would wake upwardly at various points in the night to put them back on. If you are a normal person with more than restful sleeping habits (unlike myself), yous'll be fine and these volition work neat. If you lot're a crazy person like me, you can wear them during the daytime besides for 2 to four hours (every bit in you don't NEED to be sleeping).

A cautionary tale: I did accept one feel where I used my GloPRO and so applied the mask — and woke up in the morning looking like I had been crying all night. Yous know the await. It's not pretty. So be smarter than me and don't do that, every bit both are powerful anti-aging tools and probably shouldn't be used together. Alive and learn!

Overall, I really liked the product and think that with consistent use it would exist a nice complement to a skincare routine. Huge cheers to Elle and VIIcode Skin Care for giving me the opportunity to try them!

Please note: While the brand kindly gifted one box of eye masks for me to try, this post is not sponsored and all views are my own.

What would Labor Day Weekend be without all the great sales?! I love seeing all the deals, but it's hard to continue track of all of the great bargains out there. Here'due south a roundup of some of my favorite online retailers and the sales they are currently running, which I'll proceed updating throughout the weekend. Happy shopping!

Boden :: Offering twenty% for adults and 25% for wee ones. Love this brand for myself and my son. CODE: G9C2

Nothing worse than finding out the product you threw in your cart with your fingers crossed for discount is not participating, so I actually appreciate this list and — to be quite honest — will store directly from it. Skincare is an expensive hobby! The e-mail I received besides mentions receiving a Allies of Skin 1A All-Day Pollution Air Mask with a purchase of $200 or more. CODE: LABORDAY

Joss & Chief :: Upward to 80% on a lot of great stuff and free shipping on "everything" (I'grand certain exclusions apply, only still incentivizing). They are also having flash deals on Mon. Colour me intrigued. Very interested in the area carpet sale, which goes up to a 65% disbelieve.

Macy's :: They are having huge sales for dang nigh everything, simply I usually use these sales to buy big ticket article of furniture for the firm. During their last sale on July quaternary, I scored a fantastic sectional at an amazing price. Furniture sales looking pretty peachy this time around, besides – upwards to 65% off!

Nordstrom :: Offering up forty% on so many great items!

This marks week 4 of my chimney being repaired. The endless rain and thunderstorms has thwarted the quick rebuild of one of the chimneys on my firm. And when it'south sunny?! Well, my guess is the contractor double-booked and just doesn't want to say anything since they aren't showing up here! Imagine someone with my level of impatience coming home every 24-hour interval to the dreaded tarp, which I now experience equally though I need to name since it's been hanging off of my firm for and so long. It has sent me into quite the home comeback tizzy, prompting me to take off today from piece of work and reach some long-overdue to-dos off the list!

::1:: Since the chimney debacle is happening outside, I want nothing more than to add landscape lighting that will detract from the scaffolding and all around wreckage. What I don't desire to do is pay a fortune for it. Enter this great tutorial on how to fix upward your exterior lighting, with a nice section for DIYers.

::2:: After the chimney is done, we too need our front steps/porch re-bricked. If it's a total tear down anyway, I'm thinking something equally sleek as this, with stone instead of brick. And lighting. Lots of lighting.

::3:: And eager to alter the color of the business firm and its stone piece of work to something more than like this.

::4:: For the interior, still completely obsessed with turning our basement into a usable space until the fourth dimension comes where we can cease it properly.

::5:: Simply let'due south be honest, I'll clean out my spare bedchamber cupboard and go to a local craft brewery. #summerfridays

Happy weekend, everyone!

Some amazing beauty finds this calendar month, so allow'southward jump correct in!

Sephora Play July 2018

July 2018 Sephora Play Box

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-60 minutes Blush in Paaarty :: I'm a large fan of Tarte'due south products, and this blush is no exception. The color is so pretty and information technology goes on flawlessly. I have a full-size version in the shade Exposed that I like to wear in the Autumn, but Paaarty is perfect in achieving that Summer flush.

Tarte Color Splash Lipstick in Common salt Lyfe :: I beloved how moisturizing the Rainforest of the Sea line is, and this lipstick follows suit. The color is very pretty, although possibly more of an early Autumn color for me.  Wouldn't mind picking up another ane in a more pink-hued shade, possibly Sunkissed.

Biossance Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer :: Upwards in the air on this one. I've heard so much about the benefits of squalane that my expectations may have been unrealistically high. The moisturizer was well-suited for my combo-oily skin, but I didn't go the wow cistron I was (likely unrealistically) expecting.

Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Active Brightening Oil :: Ugh, I did not want to acknowledge this to myself, merely…it appears my pare has some sensitivity to this product. I wish I could requite this a good review — or any review — only information technology broke my skin out on every occasion in which I used it. I was so bummed – it has some dandy reviews out there.

Algenist GENIUS Liquid Collagen :: I was and so excited this was included in this month'south Play!, and information technology did not disappoint. My pare felt like it had more bounce after each employ. Cute product…and it smells divine!

Briogeo Rosarco™ Accident Dry Perfection Heat Protectant Crème :: I'grand starting to think there is just no help for this hair. It's hard to tell if this made my hair more frizzy, or if my pilus is simply across repair with this humidity. Either way, wasn't enough for me to repurchase or recommend.

Birchbox July 2018

July 2018 Birchbox

Kiehl'southward Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser :: Nice cleanser, although I did detect it to be a little rough on my skin if I used it the solar day afterwards using a GloPro microneedling tool.

COOLA® Classic Moisturizer SPF 30 – Cucumber :: Loved this! Smells great, the sun protection was solid and information technology didn't break me out. Smashing summer alternative to my usual moisturizer.

Pointer REVIVE Cooling Cheek Tint :: I had a really hard time applying this, but I've honestly never been much of a cheek tint/stain person.  I'll exist passing this one along.

Lise Watier HydraForce BB Cream :: Overnice subtle coverage, simply it fabricated my pare a little greasy throughout the solar day. Might be better suited for the cooler months for skin on the oily side.

amika Velveteen Dream Smoothing Balm :: This left my hair incredibly greasy. Difficult pass for me.

July 2018 Beauty Product Empties and Samples

Samples & Empties

Putting these two together this calendar month, because there wasn't a whole lot that I was able to empty out. Simply one..very…important…item — Boozer Elephant's Protini. I have to say, I've noticed a difference since this beauty has left my skincare authorities. I will be purchasing this again.

Other samples I tried out this month include:

It Cosmetics Conviction in a Cream™ Transforming Moisturizing Super Foam :: I'thousand not sure if it'southward transformative, simply it was certainly a overnice cream. Ameliorate for night for combo-oily skin such as mine.

Sunday Riley C.E.O. Serum :: Sunday Riley is 1 of my favorite brands. In fact, I religiously used Good Genes for years and would go back to it in a heartbeat! There are so many fantastic Vitamin C serums out at that place right now — like Drunk Elephant's C-Firma and Maelove'south The Glow Maker — that I can't say I'll give C.E.O. a 2nd look.

La Mer Moisturizing Soft Creme :: Same as the Confidence in a Cream for me, but it truly is so difficult to get a feel for a product after only a couple of uses. It was certainly lovely and would work well equally part of my night routine. Suppose I was just expecting fireworks with the name La Mer attached.

Fresh Black Tea Corset Cream Firming Moisturizer :: Firming, indeed…I LOVED this! Noticed a departure immediately. I'll be picking upward a full-sized version at the Sephora sale this Autumn.

Lancome Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Eye :: I liked how moisturizing this eye cream was, though I'1000 not sure I saw enough of a do good to spring for the full-size with enough of other effective and budget-friendly alternatives on the market.

Farmacy Dear Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask with Echinacea GreenEnvy :: Saved this i for last considering it was then incredibly different. There is a very warm sensation when you apply this mask, and one of the few I can say really feels like it is hydrating as advertised. Once I removed the mask, my skin was positively glowing. Also going on the next Sephora auction wish listing. I would definitely recommend it.
